Description
WindsorONE 1×2 Trim Board
Every exterior job ends with a handful of small pieces, and this is the board they come from. WindsorONE 1×2 measures 3/4″ thick by 1 1/2″ wide, and it is built for window stops, screen bead, lattice framing and narrow battens.
It is finger jointed from real wood rather than composite, so it cuts, nails and holds a screw like timber. Priming is done at the mill, three coats of acrylic latex, faces and edges alike.
Two faces are available. S4SSE is smooth all round, and S1S2E leaves one face rough sawn with eased edges so you can install it either way.
Prime every cut, including butt joints and miters, unless you are gluing with an exterior grade adhesive.
At 3/4″ thick this matches solid wood exactly, so it sits flush against our 1×2 boards with no step at the joint. If the width is not right, WindsorONE 1×3 the next size up. The full WindsorONE range covers every size we carry.
Order a little more than the takeoff suggests. Small pieces are where offcuts pile up.
