Description
WindsorONE 2×12 Trim Board
Nothing else in the range is this big, and very little else needs to be. WindsorONE 2×12 measures 1 7/16″ thick by 11 1/4″ wide, and it is built for stair skirts, deep skirt boards and heavy trim.
The joints are what stop it cupping, and they disappear under primer. It ships factory primed on all faces with three coats of acrylic latex. The warranty runs 30 years against the three things that finish off exterior wood.
There is one profile in this size, S1S2E.
Stocked long, 16ft and 20ft, which suits elevations that would otherwise need splicing.
Field cuts want a coat of primer before they see weather.
At 1 7/16″ it matches the rest of our 2x range, including 2×12 boards, but not construction lumber. If the width is not right, WindsorONE 2×10 is the next size down. The board size guide is the quickest way to confirm this is the width you want.
Handle it two people up. A 20ft 2×12 is heavy enough to crack if you flex it, and a cracked primed board is scrap.
