Description
WindsorONE 2×8 Trim Board
On a house with wide eaves, a thin fascia looks like an afterthought. WindsorONE 2×8 measures 1 7/16″ thick by 7 1/4″ wide, and it is built for deep fascia, barge boards, headers and structural looking trim.
Primer comes as standard here, which is part of why it costs more than bare stock. A 30 year warranty stands behind it against rot, insect attack and mould.
Smooth or sawn, your choice: S4SSE and S1S2E carry identical dimensions.
Miters especially: end grain drinks water, and a mitered corner has two of them.
This is surfaced trim, so 1 7/16″ rather than the 1 1/2″ people expect. Same as our 2×8 boards. For a different width, WindsorONE 2×6 is the next size down and WindsorONE 2×10 the next size up. Full net sizes for every profile are in the board size guide.
At this size the 20ft length matters. Joining a 2×8 fascia mid run is visible from the ground and always will be.
