Description
WindsorONE 5/4×5 Trim Board
An uncommon width in an uncommon thickness, which makes it the answer to problems no standard size solves. WindsorONE 5/4×5 measures 1 1/16″ thick by 4 1/2″ wide, and it is built for wider caps, transitional casing and one off details.
The factory applies three coats of acrylic latex before it leaves the mill. Thirty years of cover against rot is unusual for a wood product, and it is the main argument for paying the premium. Being real wood, it takes a finish nail cleanly and fills like timber.
This size comes in S4S and nothing else.
Whatever you cut, seal, or you have undone the factory priming at the one point that matters.
1 1/16″ puts it at the thicker end of our 5/4 stock. Our 5/4×5 boards include 1″ options. For a different width, WindsorONE 5/4×4 is the next size down and WindsorONE 5/4×6 the next size up. More widths in the WindsorONE range, and full dimensions in the board size guide.
