Description
WindsorONE 2×6 Trim Board
Some rooflines need a fascia with real presence, and 3/4 inch will not give it to them. WindsorONE 2×6 measures 1 7/16″ thick by 5 1/2″ wide, and it is built for deep fascia, beam wraps, pergola rafters and headers.
It is warranted against rot, insects and mould for three decades. Unlike cellular PVC it will not sag in heat, because it is wood. Three coats, factory applied, and the edges are done as well as the faces.
The S1S2E option gives one sawn face and eased edges. S4SSE is dressed all round.
The warranty assumes cut ends were sealed, so seal them.
1 7/16″, not 1 1/2″. We stock no 1 1/2″ board at all, and neither do our 2×6 boards. Should this be the wrong width, WindsorONE 2×4 is the next size down and WindsorONE 2×8 the next size up. The WindsorONE range has the companion sizes most jobs need alongside this one.
Heavy boards need heavier fixings. Two fasteners per bearing, and predrill near the ends.
