Our Caroline Baseboard Base Cap is the easy way to transform a room from boring to intriguing! This baseboard base cap comes in one size of Radiata Pine. The available lengths are 8-feet or 16-feet, but we also have a 4-inch sample piece if you just want to get a feel for how it looks before buying a full-size piece.

Description
The SP001 Caroline Base Cap from WindsorONE adds a curved finishing detail to traditional and Colonial interiors. Its 7/8″ × 1 1/4″ profile combines a relatively low height with a substantial thickness, making the fit against adjoining trim especially important. Pair it with compatible baseboards to create a layered design that feels balanced throughout the room.
If you are keeping your existing baseboards, check their condition and upper edge before adding the cap. A 4-inch sample lets you see how the Caroline sits against the base and whether its projection works where the assembly meets door casings. This helps you plan a neat transition without assuming the cap will fit every existing profile.
Made from interior primed Radiata Pine, the Caroline is suited to painted woodwork. Matching the cap’s color and sheen to the baseboard helps the two pieces look like one coordinated assembly. Prepare any retained trim before painting so differences between the old and new surfaces are less noticeable.
